Gorillaz Research
Gorillaz are a virtual created in 1998 by Damon Albarn. The band consists of four characters, 2-D (vocals and keyboard), Murdoc Niccals (bass), Noodle (guitar and vocals) and Russel Hobbs (drums, percussion, drum machine), which are the characters pictured above.
The band was formed because they were fed up with the MTV content with no real substance.
Textures
I have created some textures using various mediums, such as ink, fine liners and collages. These can be used in Photoshop to apply texture to a drawing, such as with clothing.
New Gorillaz Band Member Drawing
I have created a design for a new member of the Gorillaz band, I applied the textures using clipping masks in Photoshop.
